Fabrication of Diffractive Optics: Surface Reliefs and Artificial Dielectrics

After a period of fundamental theoretical research, the field of diffractive optics is now reaching a time of assessment, when we can define the useful limits of each design procedure. Selecting a suitable procedure derives from a compromise between several factors, including design time, desired optical efficiency, and precision. A major consideration in finding such a compromise has been, and still is today, the availability of technologies which can realize the design by generating the diffracting structure with assigned tolerances.

During 2004, four divisions of the American Physical Society commissioned a study of neutrino physics to take stock of where the field is at the moment and where it is going in the near and far future. Several working groups looked at various aspects of this vast field. The summary was published as a main report entitled ``The Neutrino Matrix'' accompanied by short 50 page versions of the report of each working group. Determining the indicators of social capital theory to social network sites

The authors theoretical research provided a framework to define and measure social capital in social network sites. This paper determining with a qualitative method the theoretical dimensions of this framework. The result of this paper is the explanation of social capital theory in social network sites under the consideration of the identified indicators. The sample for this case is students, and the research needs further confirmation by other samples and methods. But this paper gives a first interesting insight in social network sites explained with the social capital theory and provides a first guidance for further research projects.

AbstractOur starting point in this article is that the question of the essence of psychotherapy has to some extent been neglected. Its medical context has strengthened the tendency to interpret psychotherapy in general from a technical and overtly rationalistic standpoint. Instead, we would underline the importance of the philosophical and historical roots of all psychotherapies. In our view, it is imperative to acknowledge the antirationalistic underpinnings that have always informed the discipline.
